Guest Lecture: Racial Equity and the Healthcare System

The Office of Sustainability presents Guest Lecture: Racial Equity and the Healthcare System with speaker, Sheronda Jamerson, Mental Health Counselor.

Racism, at its most basic level, is a lens through which people interpret, naturalize, and reproduce inequality. How we see people is how we treat them. Therefore, it is necessary to increase our awareness of how unconscious or unspoken racism compromise our discussions, decisions, and the harm that it creates.
