Paying for College: Worker Retraining Funding Program Virtual Information Session

Has your employment been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic? Join Cascadia College and 11 other community and technical colleges in Washington State to learn how the Worker Retraining Program may be able to help you retrain for a new career.

We may be able to help pay for 100% of tution and fees, if you:

  • Are currently receiving - or are eligible to receive - unemployment benefits
  • Have exhausted unemploment benefits within the past four years 
  • Are formely self-employed and closed yor business due to economic conditions
  • Are veteran discharged within the past four years

This session will include:

  • A general overview of worker retraining
  • The ability to connect with colleges
  • The opportunity to speak to an Employment Security Department representative about general unemployment information
  • The chance to talk with our community resource navigators

Partnering schools include: Bellevue College, Cascadia College, Columbia Basin College, Edmonds College, Everett Community College, Green River College, Highline College, Lake Washington Institute of Technology, North Seattle College, Renton Technical College, Sharoline Community College.
