Please join us this February to engage in conversation around mass incarceration, the prison industrial complex, and structural racism raised in Chapter 2 of Freedom is a Constant Struggle called "Ferguson Reminds Us of the Importance of a Global Context." To enrich our conversation, we will also show clips of the 2016 documentary film, 13th, by Ava DuVernay. Visit our website to explore additional resources and view and download Chapter 2, an Angela Davis interview, on our Canvas page. Students, faculty, and staff from CC and UWB are welcome.
